I think she should make one up :) and you can help.... If he hanged himself ( yes, not hung OK, its hanged ) He was disturbed by an accidental killing, turned out he thought he was protecting the house from a burglar but it was a relative on a surprise visit, he never forgave himself and hanged himself on the anniversary of the accidental killing. He traveled half way around the world to be with his childhood sweetheart, only to catch them together in a cheap Singapore hotel, he came home, drank their favorite drink, ate their favorite meal then hanged himself. He killed his wife in a fit of jealous rage but told the police it was a burglar, he got away with it but when he was found to be innocent he came home and hanged himself.
Well, that's three she could modify to suit the local township :) Find a common name in town for some old settlers and there you go! PS - if she makes one up no one will accuse her of 'using' a story :) Win win situation hehehe.
The first owner of the home was a young man who was thinking about proposing to his girlfriend. They started living in this new home happily. The girl was very beautiful and the man was head over heals in love with her.
He bought a beautiful anklet for her as a gift on her birthday. It was an expensive one. The girl loved it so much that she wore it most of the time.
The man had to go abroad for a business trip for a week and he was going to come back only on the Friday night. {Add your imagination for the trip. But it is important} .
The man was reluctant to leave his girl and go alone. But the trip was important and he was not able to take her with him even though he tried. So, he asked his best friend to take care of her. He and this friend are so connected to each other from childhood onwards.
So his friend agreed to come most of the evenings and to provide whatever help she needed. But when our man was away, the friend had a couple of drinks and forced himself to the girl. While having sex, the friend accidentally killed the girl.
Now the friend got scared and put the body in a bag and kept it under the front patio. Then he went his home. He felt so guilty about all the event and killed himself with a gun in his own home.
When our man returned from the trip and came home, he saw something familiar under the patio. He was looking for that and found that it is the anklet he bought for his girlfriend and his girlfriend's body is there. So heart broken, he went to his friend's house to talk about it.
He found a note there explaining what happened. He also found his friend's body. He was so shocked and full of grief.
So he came back to the house he made to live with his girlfriend and hanged himself. He is dead for many years now. He is still in the house.
You hear the noises of the man walking from room to room on Fridays. Sometimes, your shower run in the middle of the night because he is taking a shower. You also heard sounds of a woman and a man.
You have seen his shadow going through the stairs.
Try this one... This man, when he's still alive claims that dead people has been coming to him. They're asking for his help. Sometimes, he doesn't know what these ghosts needs that's why many times, he couldn't help them.
The usual thing he just do is send a letter anonymously to the ghost's existing family saying the message of the ghost. Some dead ones are contented with this. Some doesn't.
They wanted more from him. They wanted his company. They wanted him dead too.So that's what the other ghosts did.
They try to make the man go crazy. The ghosts always follows him wherever he goes. They ruined his job at work, they made him and his wife fight, they made his children scared that his family end up leaving him alone.
The man suddenly got sad and eventually went crazy. He's alone in the house already, or maybe not. All the ghosts live with him popping out of nowhere continuing to ruin his life.
Then when he's all fed up, he hung himself, all the ghost surrounding him laughing at him. Then he died. When he turned into ghost himself, all the ghost that he's been seeing when he's alive were gone.
Then he wonders what he's seeing before is just his imagination? Cause he can no longer see them now. Because of this thought, he got mad.
He can't accept his death. He can't accept how his life ended up. And from then on, he haunted this place.
He's scaring everyone who sets foot on this house. I'm not scaring you but, he's actually listening to us right now.
Here's a backstory for a hanged man who is not clear on what year it is and is stuck on earth due to his confusion: Hanged Man: Back in the days of prohibition, I was really top drawer. My father wouldn't have asked me to help him out, but when my brother Jackie was gunned down by the law while making a run, there was nobody else. You know, I was actually going to school to be a lawyer.
Never thought I'd end up on the wrong side of the law haulin' moonshine. Well, the Lowell boys, that's Klem and Butch, they didn't take too kindly to the competition from my dad's little enterprise. They strung me up one day to make an example, but I was just supposed to get a scare out of it.
They put the noose around my neck and stood me up on my car beneath the limb of the tree, planning on leaving me in that position for an hour or two so I'd have time to reflect on my situation and choose another line of work. What they didn't count on was the brakes not setting right and sending the car into Porter lake. My end was relatively quick after the car hit the drink.
Klem Lowell couldn't deal with what they'd done and his mama found him hanging in the stairwell of their house by the weekend. I guess he thought it was only fitting, seeing as we'd grown up together and all. Butch went down in a hail of bullets after he moved from gin running to knocking down banks.
Since they determined I committed suicide, I've had a load on my mind. I can't imagine what this did to my old man. I've not been able to find him since the funeral.
He just sort of disappeared. I need to figure out where he went and let him know I didn't do it. You wouldn't happen to know where Sam Johnson is these days, would you?
My parents got divorced a year ago so I moved out with my mum and my dad stayed in the house we had lived in for the past nine years. The house was a barn conversion, when we brought it. It was just ruins and animal troughs, however with the help of some friends my dad made it habitable.
The main set of buildings is three barns in an L shape. Two bungalows next door to each other and a third barn at a right angle to them. When cleaning the first two houses we lived in a caravan and then moved into the first barn on the far end.
There was nothing out of the ordinary about it, the atmosphere was, I would describe it as clean, clear and pure. It was only later we found out that barn was built upon a lode line of rose quartz. However our ultimate goal was to live in the big, two storey farm house and so, once in was finished we moved straight in.
I was only a small child but I remember moving to the big house. The atmosphere was not like that of the first house. The air was heavy and oppressing. It was on that first night as my parents put me in a different room at around 3am I heard screaming, I remember it even now, I was too scared to move and I heard raised voices.
Eventually everything seemed calm and I slept through to the morning. This happened on several occasions in my early childhood in the house. My mother got depressed and insisted on moving into a different room of the house. All was quiet for a while as her old room was simply used for storage.
I occasionally heard noises in the room but was always told it was simply the old house settling. My dad was cynical, he still doesn't believe in ghosts or anything supernatural. However my mum avoided the room at all costs, I never understood why, I barely went in there as a child except to use the computer stored in there and although the room scared me the lure of MSN and games overcame my fear of the room. In the house, I shared a room with my sister, which is fine when you're 8 years old but eventually I wanted a room of my own.
I was given the old store room that my mum feared so much. It is still my room now when I go to stay with my dad. The room makes me uncomfortable.
I'm scared to sleep with the lights off, even with the lights on I awake sometimes to see things. There's a corner in the room where I sometimes see eyes looking out from the shadows, I've also seen a figure of a man standing watching me from the corner and his presence is not comforting to say the least. The windows are always open but the room always feels heavy and still.
However I did not find out the whole story of my room until today. I was talking to my mum about ghosts, when she started telling me of her experiences in the room. The first night we moved in and I heard the screams she had woken up to see a man hanging from the beams in the room.
She'd woken my father who told her to stop being stupid and go back to sleep. She said although the man was slowly swinging from the beam and not moving she could see his eyes roving around the room until they settled on her. She kept her eyes tight shut and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.
Although she could not see the man hanging from the beam she said she could feel his eyes on her and she hated it. The next night, like I occasionally do, she awoke to see eyes in the corner of the room; the eyes belonged to the hanged man who had been looking at her the night before. The third night nothing happened but the atmosphere was the same, dark and depressing.
She awoke to frequent disturbing views such as the corpse and the eyes. She began asking the locals about the history of the place. Long story short, a farmer who had lived there had been up to some dirty dealings, eventually he'd been caught and lost thousands of pounds.
Soon after he committed suicide in what is currently my bed room. Although we did not talk about the room to anyone, my mums friend a very devout Christian turned and put her arm round her one day and said "Do not worry I'm praying for you. " my mum had no idea what she was praying for her about but soon after she got cancer. My mum feels the spirits from the house did this to her somehow, That the evil is so strong it did that to her, she also said that she was always worried for my sister and me when we were in the house, she always felt the presence was threatening my sister and me.
I certainly do not feel at ease or safe within the room.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
