I'd like to know the answer to that question, too. I finished university, yet I keep dreaming the same dream: I'm in high school and I can't graduate because I didn't get my final note in biology. My biology teacher (who was actually my history teacher) is waiting for me to take the test and I didn't learn anything - my notebook is empty and I can't find my student's book.
Interesting to know that other people have a similar dream!
Dreams like this tend to indicate that you have something from your past that you regret or you are questioning if you have truly accomplished all you've hoped to. In some way, you feel you have "failed" or not made the grade in some aspect of your life.
School represents learning and experience - high school tends to represent coming into adulthood and all that entails. Failing a test or being held back indicates in some ways you have held yourself back in life (or feel you have).
This is actually a common "bad dream" that people have - failing school or being forced to go back to school only to fail - it says on some level you feel you aren't cutting it somehow... it's probably also telling you to not be so hard on yourself ;).
I've had similar dreams - only in mine I got lost in the hallway trying to find my class lol.
First of all, It has nothing to do with you ACTUAL graduation. Its mere symbolism that your memory or subconscious uses to capture the emotions you experienced an felt maybe approaching your graduation that it is trying to apply to another event in your life.
Maybe because the event has not been fully identified by you yet, it continues to manifest itself in a form that your mind and body knows it has experienced before.
Something may be either approaching that has you a tad nervous and maybe giving you a heads up to have your ducks in a row before the date comes. It can be telling you something as simple as having all your papers and pre-requisites ready for a job your applying for. Or make sure to check all loose ends before the deal on buying a new home reaches the closing date.
It just seems to be about preparation and being ready for something that is coming your way.
What I "read" in it, is that you subconsciously feel you accomplished something that you did not deserve. Not literally your high school diploma, but something else, something recent and possibly something important as well (like a raise, a woman who fell for you, a gift you received,...).
The reference that this is about high school means you probably value knowledge and success a lot, but have recently been looking back on your life and debating whether or not you did make the right choices or did do the right things.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
