I purchase beef patties from a supermarket, not a butcher, and often make hamburgers (alot). Is it unhealthy?

Heart disease due to a poor diet starts when you are a teenager. When you hear of a 55 year old man having a heart attack, it wasn't because he started eating a lot of hamburgers the week before - he's been eating that way since he was a teenager. And you don't say what "alot" is.

And part of it depends on what the fat content is of the hamburger is you are buying. You can buy regular ground beef which as 30% fat, or lean ground beef which is 22% fat or extra-lean which is 15% fat. The least fat, the better.

If you want to remain healthy - you need to figure out exactly what you protein needs are. Generally most Americans think the need more protein than what they actually do. There are different methods of figuring this out - all available on the web.

You say you eat "lots of beef" that doesn't say how much - but I'm guessing you eat more than you need. So yes - just eating a bunch of fatty ground meat is going to be bad for you in the long run. Take an hour and research what it is ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
