I think different than I used to just months ago, I can tell I am for the most part a different person now I was involved in a collision two months ago and suffered head trauma, doctors/cat scans say I am fine, but I know I'm different. The way I think has changed and it has me very sad on the verge of tears sometimes. There's very descriptive words I had on the tip of my tongue at all times that I would use, philosophies about life that I created and my own writings that now seem foreign to me.
I word things differently, I am not as intelligent as I was before. Could I ever be me again? Asked by Prosperity 6 days ago Similar questions: months ago part person Health > Mental Health.
You are you now, but it seems that you've suffered some sort of traumatic brain injury that wasn't discovered by the doctors. Go back to them, explain what you've explained here. You might need some sort of additional therapy that you should still be eligible for.
I explained to one doctor and he acts like I am imagining things but he admits I had a concussion. Prosperity 6 days ago .
There are degrees of concussions. I've had a concussion playing football, and had none of the symptoms you're noticing. Find another doctor: if you have to, get a referral for a specialist in traumatic brain injury.
There are therapies that may help-- a MRI scan may reveal blood clots, clogged arteries, or other damage. There are also medicines that can help. Better see a doc soon.
Oftentimes, our reaction to changes makes the changes worse. Talking to someone once or twice a week for awhile will give you an ally, as well, it may afford you some clarity about what you are going through. I have always been one to believe that we experience things in our lives for a reason.
It doesn't make it any easier, but there is something for you to learn by this. Perhaps seeking deeper answers to your experience via a spiritual pursuit would be fortifying for you at this time. There has to be a medical reason for your change of attitude, since it occurred simultaneous to your collision.
However, no matter what the doctors say, know that you are in control. Perhaps you can take some inspiration from Gabrielle Giffords and her heartbreaking journey. Against all odds, she is courageously fighting to get the most basic abilities back.
Be glad you are not in her situation! Best of luck!
Google Daniel G Amen, M.D. And make an appointment to go to one of his clinics and get a brain scan asap. I agree you know your body better than anyone else. This is the exact type of issue he deals with all the time.
Best wishes .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
