You can only take your employer to a tribunal for unfair or constructive dismissal if you have worked for them for over two years. In any case, you were not dismissed - you quit, without giving any notice. They could sue you.
If you can't cope with the boss losing his temper, you are not going to be able to hold down any jobs.
I think unfortunately the Tories reinstated their 2 year rule, but that doesn't apply in cases of sex, racial or possibly other types of discrimination. I'm not sure if any of those would apply here, did he shout any threats or sexually discriminatory or other inflammatory statements? It isn't really true that it is acceptable for bosses to shout at people since it could be classed as verbal aggression.
It'd depend on the manner of the shouting, circumstances, what was shouting about. I'm not sure you will be able to do anything, and action could be a long road to go down, but some people here don't want to be on your side I notice!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
