I want to cook asparagus in the crock pot, how long should they be in? how much water should I add?

I would use a regular pan - asparagus should only be cooked lightly so it is still firm, in a regular pan, half covered in water for about 10 minutes.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
