And then after a couple months you and your friends either got used to it or it just stopped. Well thats exactly whats going on here. Your A Rookie!
Noone likes being a Rookie! You have to earn your proper Sealegs (earn their respect and trust) like everyone else (that works there) did and that means go through hell for a few weeks lol. If I were you I would ride it out for a few months (minimum) and if these problems still are true then it is obvious that these coworkers are just being assholes and I would probably quit unless the pay was really good or something lol.
Best of luck to you and your issues.
St. John's Wort Extract, 300 mg capsules, 3 times a day, helped me to remain calm at work. Go to Web MD http://www.webmd.com/depression/guide/st... and study how to deal with stress and anxietyl Try to get some strenuous exercise before starting your shift. Be careful to eat a healthy diet.
If you can manage to arrive at work with an energized body and focused mind, your day will already start out smoothly. You are already aware of the irritating actions from the other cashier. Remember he has no authority over you.
And you can CONTROL how you react to his bad behavior. Best to ignore him as much as possible. If the cooks are yelling at you, try to ignore them as well.
Cooks that actually shout at you are ignorant people and unprofessional. Try writing down some of the things you would like to ask your supervisor about. And even write down the answers you receive so you never have to ask that same question again.
Try smiling a lot. It has proven to elevate the mood of a person. Pretend you are thinking about a good joke.
How you FEEL at any given time is totally under YOUR control. Don't let others take that away with their snide remarks. You really deserve to work in a pleasant environment... even if you must create it for yourself.
Try to anticipate things that should be done in your work area and do those things without being asked. You will become so popular with the boss, that he/she will treat you like the best employee in the place.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
