If I already have many hard copy books, is there some way that I can transfer them onto my kindle?

Well, you can scan each page and then collect the scans into a PDF document. Kindle reads PDFs and TXT files perfectly well! .

What DanZee said, this is the only way to get your hardcopies onto your Kindle without having to buy them again in a Kindle, digital format. But with the cost of most Kindle books being about $10, your time and effort maybe better spend just to purchase the books again, because in order to get a decent document scan you will have to almost destroy your printed copies so that the pages will lie flat when you try to scan them.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
