I think you are confused with regards to HSV1 and HSV2. Those are two different viruses so one can not convert from 1 to 2. The confusion that people have is assuming that type 1 is oral herpes and type 2 is genital herpes.

The type of the virus naming is not derived from the location of infection. Those are two distinct serological different viruses that can be sorted based on that serology. HSV 1 can infect both oral and genital regions where as HSV2 is predominantly genital.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
