If only apartment hunting wasn't such a painfully drawn out headache. any steal the deal advice?

Apartment owners are currently desperate for reliable tenants. If you find one you like, more than likely you will be able to negotiate a price with the owner/landlord. Thats what I have had to do recently with a rental house I own.

The last tenant (I was desperate) trashed my house, and wrote me a worthless check for their last month's rent. Luckily I was able to find an excellent tenant that seems to be responsible, so I reduced her payment by $50 per month, and didn't charge her for last month's rent deposit.

Yeah, don't rent an apartment at all. Tell the landlords to all piss off. Go get yourself an RV and then you will not have to worry about such things and you can have a pet if you like and you don't have to worry about asking for permission to do this or that.

I got tired of renting and that's what I did. Simple living is such a freeing state of mind. I know this doesn't answer your question, but you had no answers at all so I thought I would insert my own two cents.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
