If the bible says thou shall not kill, does that mean soldiers are sinners?

I am so glad that you asked this question. The bible does state that if you kill then you are a sinner. Then again, in the bible everyone is a sinner.

So I would say yes, if you are a soldier and kill then you are a sinner. I do not agree with that because soldiers are protecting us. They have to take out what are trying to take out us.

So I guess it just depends on how you interpret the bible. You know as well as I know that people interpret the bible in different ways. I mean come on, look at all the different denominations.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
