I'm with you on the whole "Why does the Faux/GOP-created Tea Potty exist?" thing...check out Bruce Wilson's 11 Aug. 2009 article in The Huffington Post (posted Dec. 2, 2009 online), "Documents Show Christian World Domination Group..." and tie to my usual warnings re The Family cult and their YWAM offspring. This last election was a classic example of "bait-and-switch" conjob and the voters fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Shoulda' stayed with the Democrats.
I don't think you understand what an earmark is. Requesting an earmark doesn't add anything to the budget. That 1 billion would have been spent elsewhere, it's just that some executive agency would have decided what would get done with it.
So what they typically do is put earmarks into the bill and then vote against the bill. It says, essentially, "Don't spend this money, but if you do, my district should get their fair share.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
