Well, the memories are kinda hazy, but I do know it was late on a weekend night in an on-campus theater with a lot of other very-hazy people. I was sober enough to remark to my friends that there was no doubt that this movie should be played on-campus on a weekday - to all of the Abnormal Psych classes! What a case study, and one that seemed to be a very accurate depiction of psychiatric illness!
And, unfortunately, probably very accurate of Syd's illness. The really interesting thing about your question was the thought process it triggered in my mind on how to answer it, and how it inadvertently led to what I think is THE PERFECT CHOICE! 1) Musician who could act vs. actor who can sing.2) Instead of process that led to Geldof, let's do the latter.3) What movies come to mind where the actors sang... well?4) "Walk the Line", Reese Witherspoon and who played Johnny Cash|Johnny?
5) Oh, yeah, Joaquin Phoenix!6) Holy s__t, after his David Letterman appearance last year, he may already be LIVING - or prepping for - the part! 7) Sad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2Mzp_1ndR8.I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
