The bible says in I Corinthians 7:10-16 that you are to keep your marriage vows. If your spouse is an unbeliever and wishes to stay married then you are to stay married to that person. V14 For the unbelieving spouse is snactified by the beliver.
However if the unbelieving spouse leaves the marriage, you are no longer bound to that spouse. V16 says that you (the believer) could bring that person to (or back to) Christ.
No and as a devout Christian isn't it your responsibility to live by your vows. Paganism isn't devil worship or human sacrifice and they have a right to their belief.
To decide to be pagan I do not believe is a reason for a marriage to fail. I think that as a pagan would be just as decent as he was before he joined.
If I am a devout and devoted christian who is married to my spouse for many years and he decided to become pagan, I won't divorce him. He might changed his beliefs but I haven't. I respect whatever his decision and beliefs and I believe that as long as we have love and respect we will be able to make our marriage work.In my part, I know it is very difficult because we started as a couple who are devoted Christian but I will remain firm and steadfast in my belief so divorce is a big NO.
And I will just pray for him because there must be some reason why there is a sudden change in him. I have faith that God will find a way to enlighten him but I am ready to accept the fact that he became a pagan.
If you are a devout and devoted Christian, then you know a Pagan is someone who needs you most of all. So, no divorce.
