No you will be sentenced as per law to the age at wich you committed the crime...however..homicide and crimes of that nature you can be tried as an adult as young as 13.
He gets charged as an adult, if the prosecution crafts the charges properly. In essence they will argue that if the person performed an "adult" act or activity, he should be charged as an "adult".
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
