I would abolish WW I World War I was a senseless, evil meat-grinder of a war with no ideological basis that led to the Russian Revolution and the seeds of Nazi fascism in Germany. So we had to confront tler's Reich and Soviet Communism in succession and many millions more died. It ruined the 20th century, ended the British Empire and militarized the United States in a permanent way.
All of the WW I results were negative. If it had not happened WW II and the Cold War would have been unnecessary. Who knows what better things might have happened instead!.
Assasinate Joseph Stalin said, " War is the great expiditor of events ". We shoulda killed that monster. For one , 500,000 American boys would have lived a full life and 6-8 million Jews would have been spared.
World War II cost humanity 30 million lives thanks one ONE crazy S.O.B. , but don't get me started! .
I would change the birth of Adolf tler If I could change that moment in time Adolf tler would have been still born. S unspeakable atrocities would never have taken place, and we would not have a blemish on the face of humanity because of this man. This will probably be too graphic for some... so I will keep it short and succinct. I would change the fact that I was circumcised as an infant. It would make me the one thing I idolize more than anything, a perfect human being.
Not perfect as in unable to make mistakes or commit an error, but physically complete. It would make me less angry at my parents for assuming that I would want to be a Christian like them when I became an adult. This is a controversial subject, and I'm sure it may cause waves within the askville community, but that wasn't my intention.
I simply answered the question honestly. Why was the american civil war an important event in history.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
