If you could create a cologne or perfume scent that was food or drink-based, what would it be?

Just smelled a girl who splashed on too much vanilla-scented perfume, and almost choked to death. Alex and I decided that we should come up with an "oven-fresh-bread" scent. :) What do you all think?

Well if its food or drink based, I'd have to say Tanqueray gin and tonic with fresh squeezed lime. I love the smell of Tanqueray gin. Another one might be fresh peach cobbler.Yummmmm..

I haven't seen any yet! Of course, you have to have it warm with cinnamon ice cream on top.....I have seen peaches though. Maybe I'll have to get some and make my own, even though, I'm not a pie maker.

My favorite is called Lick me all Over, it smells exactly like Pink Lady apples. I know what you mean about women drowning themselves in perfume and its usually BAD perfume, we had a woman at the phone company, as soon as she walked into the building you could smell her from any room. GAKKK!

Ooh apples... we could have a whole line.. "fresh apples".."cinnamon apples"... "spiced apple cider"... And yes. Those women sometimes make me cough up a storm! But men aren't immune either - there's this guy on my train who I swear, has a lifetime supply of Drakkar Noir.

I have a great scent called "Blood Orange. " It's heavenly and it doesn't disappear, it just mellows down. I used to have a collection of perfumes that includes a citrus scent as well as jasmine, and another I can't remember.

They were organic scents my son sent me. I don't think I'd wear a perfume that smelled like baked goods.

Ooh Blood Orange sounds fantastic! Citrus scents .. can't really go wrong in my book! I think the baked goods thing was a result of us both being hungry at lunch time.

You can get Blood Orange and some other very appealing scents at Whole Foods in the cosmetics section. It's a glass tube with a little roller. Alex must be getting old.

Haha Alex just came back from Whole Foods! I'll have to send him right back! I'm definitely checking out that smell next time I'm there.

I used to be a Channel #22 girl. I loved that scent - now I go for scents that do better with jeans than vintage designer suits.

As much as I love scented products, I understand the businesses that are banning them. I was in a public waiting area the other day and a woman had on a scent so strong it stung my eyes. I had to get as far away from her as possible.

I think a scent properly applied should be barely noticeable. Someone should almost have to get in close and sniff you to know what it is. It shouldn't smack people from across the room, or choke you to death!

Totally with you. Our office is pretty fortunate in that we don't have too many of those. But the train I take to work is full of them!

I normally love the smell of vanilla! But this girl.. I think her body chemistry wasn't compatible with the smell or something.. it was NOT pleasant. Huh!

Speaking of blood oranges - a local brewery here makes a blood orange beer, in season. It is beyond belief! I am not a beer drinker, but I wait for it every year.

I have been inhaling the fresh strawberries and blueberries - I completely forgot about it being watermelon season! All right - definitely running to the grocery store! I'm not a beer drinker either - but that I might have to try if I got my hands on some.

It's already been created, but I love the smell of cotton candy in a perfume. It's light and I love light, candy smelling scents. Maybe a buttered popcorn perfume would be interesting.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
