I would love to have a room to myself...... First I would add my sewing machine..... Than I would add my computer.... Than I would add my books.......... Than I would add a big over sized chair...... Than I would add some plants...... And last but not least, drawings from my kids (and of course pictures of them too)! .

I have 2 rooms I want ...................... I want the bathroom with a jacuzzi tub for all my aches and pains and a double shower with plenty of room to shave my legs! The Other room I’d want would be a studio for my Art work! It would be big enough to set up my easel and have a large table to work on.

I use acrylic and oil so I would need plenty of space to do both! A skylight for plenty of natural light! It would also have a utility sink and cleanup area!

If money were no object and I had an extra room... I would create a room to do my beading in. I have collected thousands of beads and they are all stored in boxes and baggies all over the place. When I get ready to do a project I have to pull everything out and my work space (the living room coffee table) and floor is covered with bags and boxes of beads.

I have so many boxes and bags that I have forgotten half of what I have. I have actually bought beads that I already own because I fotgot about them. I’m a very organized person in every other way, but I have not been able to get organized with this craft, and it drives me crazy.

When I pull things out the cat starts batting the beads around, and I find them all over the house now. I know exactly what I need, but it is very expensive and takes up a lot of room that I don't have. This is what I have, in multiples, all over the place.

This is what I need. Here are two of my creations Since this is a dream room I am going to be greedy, I would like it large enough so that I could have half of it for my beading and the other half for wools. I want to take up spinning, dyeing and weaving. So I would need a much bigger room to fit a spinning wheel and a weaving loom Not to mention the storage for my new yarns.

Look it even has a place for my kitty. And don’t forget a place for all my books. Is this asking too much? After all I gave up my dinning room area and turned it into a gym.

I use half my bedroom for a study and computer area. I turned a walk in closet into a room for the cat. Why can’t I have a place just for me?

Perhaps I should evict the cat from the closet and start there. What do you think? I have a space that is all mine to use I have a great wood shop--took me a long time to get it, but now I have a space in a separate building that is all mine. I spend much of my day in that space at every opportunity. Having a space that no one else is in can be real important--during periods of my life where I felt inundated with other human beings, I used to almost hide in those private spaces--we all need time to tune up our thoughts.

Now I share my "private space" with my best friend--see picture. I also share my space with my other best friends at least one day a week. We compare notes on woodworking or life in general.

Even women enter that "man" space now and then--ha. I'm a lucky duck! .

I do... and I spend a great deal of time in it. It is a large office with built-in bookshelves holding hundreds of books, two computers attached to broadband, a graphics tablet to use with Photoshop, a lake view, an area to indulge my hobby -- balloon twisting-- and another area to use for digital photography. Quite a luxury. It came from teaching courses online and wasn't just an indulgence, however.

On the other hand, one of our agreements upon a late marriage was that we have a house that would accommodate a 'cave' for me -- that is, I am one of those typical male troglodytes that need an area just for me. So I have a downstairs with billiard table, small kitchenette, bathroom, and office. The term 'cave' refers to the theory that men often need a 'cave' or a space of their own to retire to at times.

To be fair, she also has a full office, bath, etc. Upstairs -- of course, she also taught online courses from there for many years. We have a middle level where we spent the rest of our time having meals, watching television, talking on the porch, etc. This is sort of a skinny but tall house with three levels. And to be even more fair, we have just completed a stained glass workshop for her with all the machines and devices one could wish to start a hobby. It is attached to the house and also has a wonderful view.

How many years have I wished for a space? Many! One time, when I was living in a tiny studio apartment with a family, I incorporated a small closet for my office and hung my files on coat hangers... makes me smile to think about.

" "I've backed up and given him space. WHAT DOES HE WANT FROM ME?" "Is there a bar in NYC that has an outdoor space with TVs for sports? " "it came from outer space" "great space coaster" "Should we allow the weaponization of space?

" "the meaning of Recreation Act for College" "are you a member of a recreation center in your hometown?" "Sacred Space? " "Is the US space program necessary?

I've backed up and given him space. WHAT DOES HE WANT FROM ME?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
