If you have so much money that could buy a zoo, would you do it? What are you going to do with your zoo?

I honestly would love to have the time, energy, money and other resources to start an animal rescue. Zoos are sort of like animal rescues in that they breed endangered animals. But they can't always take in abuse animals that need homes.

I would love to open a sanctuary, particularly for birds, to live out their very long lives away from the people that have abused them, something like the elephant sanctuary in Tennessee (elephants.com/).

If I did buy a zoo I would try to have fun and new exhibits to educate children about the animals. I would do my best to increase awareness and hopefully build an appreciation for wildlife.

If I did make/win that much, I would consider buying an existing zoo or having a new one created. However, I think it would be quite a bit more expensive to build a brand new zoo and have to have all the animals imported and areas/habitats built for them. After I owned the zoo, I would plan animal shows there each week/month and integrate a museum on endangered and extinct animals.

With the zoo, I would hope to create/offer a few new jobs to people who truly enjoy the company of animals.

Hmmm while I like the zoo, if I had that kind of money, there are too many other things I would want to do...a zoo would be last on my list... But if I DID have a zoo....I would have to have tiger cubs..to me they are the cutes animals ever!

I might donate money to a zoo or if I had enough build a new habitat in my name for some creatures but to own a zoo I think would require alot of additional capital to keep it going. I don't think it's something I would consider for my investment portfolio.

I don't think I'd buy the zoo. While I can understand why it would be fun, it wouldn't make much business sense and would probably become a large financial strain. By buying it, I'd also be inviting scrutiny about how I was treating the animals (even if I was treating them very well).

I'm sure more extreme groups would also protest the concept of keeping wild animals in captivity, and I just wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any campaigns they'd launch.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
