A pub tent, water and food. A tent to protect from the weather, food and water for sustinance and then I'd get the heck out of there. I've been to the painted desert and it's hot and windy during the day, cool at night.
1) Water- for obvious reasons2) GPS- so I could find a camel dealership or a snow mobile dealership (in the Antarctic desert)3) Satellite phone- for pizza delivery.
A bucket of sunblock, vessel for collecting water and Bear Grylls (he’s not a “thing” and I won’t be able to carry him on my back but still…).
A shovel, a piece of plastic, and a blanket. I've lived in a semi-arid desert all my life, and you can never carry enough water to last an appreciable amount of time out there. You can, however, use any local vegetation (no matter how scrubby) to put under the plastic and get water off of it.
The shovel works great for hollowing out an area for this, as well as to set the vegetation on so that you don't lose any water into the ground, and to hollow out shelters. The shovel also works great for breaking open cactus for its juice without having to stab the heck out of your fingers. A blanket will protect from the sun during the day and the cold during the night.
If you're relatively protected from the elements and can stay hydrated, you can live for a very long time off of what little nutrition you can get from what little plants and bugs are available.
A truck so I don't have to suffer the agony of walking, plus I can have a goodnight sleepMy Lipstic ... nothing worse than having dry lips! Time Magazine... something to read when the truck breaks down!
Three things I'd like to have when stuck in a desert:1. Water, lots of it;2. A very good car that can withstand even the worst desert storm;3.My favorite food, I would not want to die of hunger.
A warm blanket, water, food and a tent. Then all day I wud meditate/pray.
Hmm...I would bring some sort of desert water-collecting device, a warm tent, and a knife (so that I can cut and eat cactus).
1. A tarp for shelter during the day and collecting rainwater/dew.2. Water for obvious reasons 3.
Spyglass/telescope for viewing the stars.
Water (can't live without), a bag pack filled with food ( don't want to starve) and a flash light (to make signals and to see at night). 3 things can't be enough lol.
I would bring water because without H2O, I would die in 2 hours because I get thirsty easily. I would also bring a blanket because it gets super cold during the night. Lastly I would bring food because its awesome, and I need it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
