I'm an aspiring writer. I want to create something good. Will this make a good read (be honest)?

Use metaphors or similies. "Guilt is a rat, and murderers are the sewer garbage in which it dwells...I am the sewage in which it dwells" "While she had never lifted weights, she was certain that carrying the weight of this much guilt should have warranted the presence of a spotter. Such was the burden of her wrongdoing, and such was the toll that it took on her." "Guilt a predator, and she its prey, she was paralyzed to escape and doomed to be devoured by this gruesome beast inside of her" --- What do you think?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
