I'm an expectant father undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Will I be allowed in the delivery room for the birth of my child?

Normal childbirth isn't a medical condition, so it should be no more dangerous to you than going out in public would be. It's not like your wife is sick; unfortunately the way childbirth is approached in this country, with litigation in mind, makes doctors approach normal childbirth as if it were some medical emergency. I'm assuming in this answer that your concern is whether there would be danger to you in the delivery room.

Ask the hospital about their MRSA rate, explaining the situation--don't identify yourself in case the answer is "no, you can't be here"! But if you're going into the hospital at all for your treatments, this should be no more dangerous than that.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
