It's very important that you speak with your counselor about your relapse, even if you don't want to for any reason, such as shyness, shame, or the fact that you already recognize what happened as a relapse. Your doctor would be the right person to answer this question. Mahalo is, frankly, not the best place to get a solid answer to your very serious question.
I'm worried I'll never go into a hypermetabolic state recovering from anorexia. Do all recovering anorexics go into a hypermetabolic state? If so why am I not?
So here's the deal. I went to the hospital to recover from anorexia and I worked up to eating 2500-2800 calories a day and when I got him after 10 days there I relapsed eating only 1300. My worry is that because of that and now being on more calories again my body will never go into a hypermetabolic state.
Am I right to worry or will it happen?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
