Because the party was founded by John Tyndall, an enthusiastic Nazi sympathiser, and a man whom Nick Griffin (from the openly racist National Front) was happy to work with. Because it took the threat of legal action to force them to admit to membership non-white British citizens; although they were happy to admit white foreigners such as South African Lambertus Nieuwhof, who in 1992 planted a bomb at a mixed-race church school in South Africa as part of a campaign of terror. Because leader Nick Griffin wrote in BNP magazine "The Rune" in 1998 "... we affirm that non-Whites have no place here at all and will not rest until every last one has left our land."
He claims to have changed his views since then, but in my opinion Griffin can never be trusted. If given any power, he would quickly revert to his former NF self. EDIT: Rikstir comes out with the old "opponents of the BNP have been brainwashed by the education system" line.
Isn't it odd, how it only seems to be the fine minds and well-developed intellects of the BNP supporters which managed to escape this brainwashing? What superior beings they must be. Strange, because when they open their mouths, some of them seem completely untouched by the education system.
That must explain it. EDIT: Once more, Redmonk, you refer to "lies" next to a quote from my answer. Could I again trouble you to make clear where the deliberate factual inaccuracy in what I wrote is?
I have made clear the age of the quote I used, and Griffin's assertion that things have changed. I have offered my opinion (not suggested as fact) that he is not to be believed. So where is the lie, because I'm not aware of any attempt to deceive here?
I don't acknowledge your "reverse racialism" statements as I don't think they apply. There is no such thing. If someone treats another group less favourably on grounds of race, that's racism.
And it doesn't matter whether it's white on black, Asian on white, black on Asian, it's racism. You frequently accuse me of "reverse racalism", yet never make clear why. Where have I suggested that black British, British of Asian ancestry etc should be treated more favourably than white British?
I haven't. They shouldn't - just treated equally. But you seem to think that to want to offer equal treatment is "reverse racialism"?
Or have I misunderstood?
The one issue with me, and what stops me from voting for them is, the fact Nick used to be a member of the National Front, an openly racist, and homophobic party. Would you say NF aren't racist.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
