Technically you need permission to use anyone else's copyrighted materials in your own advertising, not to mention possible trademark issues as well. However, under US copyright laws, you are allowed to take your OWN pictures of things you're selling (trademarks and all) and use those photos in your advertising for selling those things. 17 USC 113.
I have also worked with people who simply duplicated the vendors' glossy brochure photos onto their company's website for display of the product they're able to provide, e.g., as a decorator. It may be completely illegal, copyright-wise, but they had "tacit" waivers from the vendors who allowed them to do it for year after year... Your circumstances may vary.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
