I dunno the French lingo really, except words like derrière and pepe le pew, so no comment from me. I did learn 5 years of Spanish starting 8th grade, but lost most of it. I did find it captivating; just got pretty complex to learn after a bit.
I do love the fact I can read a Spanish word, and if I dunno what it means, it matters not because you can KNOW how to pronounce a word just by looking at it; no dictionary needed to know how to pronounce something, unlike English. Almost... For my taste, I find Italian to be a slightly more romantic sounding language. Just a matter of personal preference. French is a close second.
Russian in third. And I should be a little partial to French - I know a bit of it. Studied it for a few years, well into college.
And I've forgotten most of it. And its romantic sound is a large part of the reason I wanted to learn it in the first place. It's a language that sounds poetic no matter what you say (just about....).
You sure can't say the same thing for English.
I think it is. I can't speak it, but I can KISS it... Sources: Personal opinion .
French is romantic but I suppose I am a sucker for Italian. And..yes...I have had sweet nothing and hot somethings whispered in my ear by Carmelo from Catania. Ooh la la...... He could have been telling my butt was too big, my hair smelled like puke and my eyes were crossed but it sounded so good that it didn't matter.
(I did understand what he said and believe me..it was not mean at all...blush blush) .
I speak French and Italian Yes I think French is Romantic, but it also depends on the person who is speaking the language. I believe the same for Italian. So I think any language can be very Romantic, spoken by the right person with the right tone at the right time to the right person.
Wheew that was long LOL.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
