The simple answer is that a PC can have multiple uses. There is gaming, and video editing, and multitasking, and web browsing/spreadsheet/clerical. For gaming http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gami... A dual core i3 is better than either of the AMD CPUs.
The reason is many games use only 1 or 2 cores. Also, higher performance in less cores and other factors in the CPU, make the i3 a good budget choice. In starting with an i3, you also have options to move up to i5's and i7's, but in gaming, the entire FX line performs about the same, and the Phenoms top out quickly and use a lot of power that needs better power supplies and cooling techniques.
When talking other tasks, the FX-4100 and Phenom shown are slightly better than i3-2120, but still inferior to the new i3-3220. However, yu can get to FX-6100 and FX-8xxx fairly inexpensively normally and they are great in video edit and multitasking, and the X6 phenoms are not much more than the X4's. If it was not used for gaming, computers can be budget friendly with FX-6100 for example.
There is also the A-series which has decent enough graphics for non-gaming and are a great value. Summary: Gaming = Intel Graphics and video editing, AMD is often a better value. Passmark scores: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php In gaming, can only use to 4 cores, so you would also need to look at the IC data itself and not just the numerical value.
Compare benchmarks (higher is better): i3-2120 2C 4-thread:4203 fx-4100 4C 0-thread:3969 phenom ii 965 4C 0-thread:4202 only thing left is to compare price. Personally I like the intel procs better for some personal reasons. Usually, the intel procs run faster than amd stuff.
Intel also typically performs better than amd.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
