In gaming and for general use there's no difference between the FX-Series and Phenom II processors. In fact and sadly, the Phenom II X6 1100T is a better processor than the FX-6100. As far as the FX-series processors are concerned, the only 2 in the bunch with the performance edge are the FX-8150 and FX-8120.
However, the mighty FX-8150 performs the same in gaming as the Phenom II X4 965. If you're willing to spend around $200 then a Core i5 processor is the logical and best choice. The Core i5 processors are a lot faster core vs. core compared to the Phenom II and FX-Series processors.
With all cores running, a Core i5-2500k can keep up with a Phenom II X6 1090T. Since PC games favor the per core strength of a processor, the Core i5 processors perform better then anything AMD has to offer. For some reason most RPG games like Skyrim and Starcraft II are processor intensive.
In these games you will definitely see a difference between the Core i5 and Phenom II. In shooter games like BF3 there's no difference... BF3 is just happy with a decent Quad-Core. The only AMD processors I would look at are the Phenom II X4 955, 965, 960T or the FX-4100.
Otherwise, if you want the best then go Intel. Just remember that only the "K" series Intel processors can be overclocked. (Core i7-2600k and Core i5-2500k).
The others like the Core i5-2500 and Core i5-2400 are locked. Also, the H67 and H61 motherboards are locked. http://www.guru3d.com/article/amd-fx-815... The GTX 560 is significantly faster than the GTX 550ti.
The GTX 550ti can play the newest games like BF3 at medium settings on a 1080p monitor, while the GTX 560 can play the newest games at High settings. http://www.hwcompare.com/10975/geforce-g...
I would go for intel sandybridge instead of bulldozer and phenom. All of AMD's processors are all based off of the same old athlon x64 processors. Bulldozer was just a rearranged processor.
Save your money I power bills also and buy a sandybridge. You could buy a bulldozer 8-core and it use 223watts tdp. And for the same if not higher performance, you can go get a intel core i5 sandybridge and it use only 95watts tdp.
Look for the 2400 i5 or the 2500 if for the same performance as bulldozer. Look for any intel cpu taht's higher than them.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
