Yes, definitely call the cops or talk to a teacher or counselor. No one has any right to be so horrible to you. You have to get out of this situation before it gets out of control.

One of the things I hate the most is parents assuming they deserve respect no matter what they do to their kids. Of course it is not ok for him to hit you, or even insult you like that. And you did not show weakness, you actually were very strong to stand up to him.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
