Recurring dreams of deceased family member...?

Sorry for your loss of your father may Allah peace be on his soul. I lost my grand father I loved him so much couldn't see him or attend his funeral I was in USA. Since he died I saw him in my dreams many times 5 yrs later my Grandma passed away but my grandma never came in my dreams I love her so much too they were like parents .

It's been almost 13years. One year ago I lost my only friend My wife few months after my wife passed away I saw my Grandma in underground looks like a room soil floor and my Grandma has done her Udhu I can see water on her face and on her hands . I offer my Grandma my prayer rug for pray she gave it back to me and she said you pray on your rug and I pray on mine and I look at the floor she has a prayer rug on the floor .

Right after that I saw my wife and my Grandma talking each other my wife not paying any attention to me when I was asking her how are you doing few seconds later my Wife looked at me with smile and said I am doing fine everything is ok and I cry in my dream asking to comeback but the dream was ended when my little daughter woke me up around 4 in the morning. I know you been praying your father be patient you will have lots of dreams when the time is meant. My advice to you is please take care of your health and think positive about your sister it has nothing to do who loves the most to your father .

Your father loves both of you that's what exactly I tell my Kids . I tell my 5 yr old I love you more than your brother and do the same to my 9yr old son because they get jealous for everything. Disregard stupid people who is making fun of even for a sad situation.

Life is unpredictable only Allah know when. Please don't blame or regret about your behavior toward your father you know that you love so much and of course your father loves you no matter what. I will include you and your family in my prayers.

Salaam.

Asalamualykum sister, its me sumaiya again..... I feel for you for losing your father, may Allah (SWT) give you patience. I can understand that you feel disheartened that that you do not see your father in your dreams but other members do, despite not being close. You have to remember sister.... Allah puts tests and trials more difficult on the more Mu'min strong believers as the test of Sabr (patience) is the biggest trial in this life.

Remember sister this powerful Aayah : 'Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.' (Surah Baqarah:155) You are finding it harder to move on in life as this is a test from Allah sister, but just bear in mind that holding onto your Imaan strongly will help to heal your heart from feelings of pain. Your father may have left this world, but you are given an opportunity from Allah to embrace Deehn, and pray for Noor in your father's grave and pray for patience and most important Hidayah (guidance) from Allah (SWT) I would also like to advice you that you should try in best efforts for praying Nawafil namaz to help heal the pain - and always focus on strenghthening your relationship with Allah, and Allah the Almighty will make everything easy for you insha'Allah. You could also try specifically Salaat-ul-Istikhira to ask for any specific desires - to see your father in your dreams insha'Allah.

My duas are with you sister... :) Also, people who cry over the deceased don't see them in their dreams - that sounds a bit too vague, more of a cultural concept than an Islamic knowledge however, based on the an authentic Hadith our Rasool (SAW) had said that people who mourn and tear clothes and excessively cry over people's death is not one of us ( a believer) so bear in mind that Sabr is the biggest tool you can have to succeed in this life and the Aakhira :).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
