Yes, deer corn is just dried out regular yellow corn. Most deer corn comes from ears of corn that will not sell, like if it is deformed or possibly picked prematurely.
Tim – I have not heard any reports about this myself however, it has been a hectic time and our wildlife vet has been totally consumed with our CWD and TB sampling efforts. Maybe he has received some reports. I will check with him on the corn mold possibility.
I do know that we documented many cases of grain overload last winter when deer moved into corn fields as their primary source of food. Some deer cannot stand this diet and die. I may not have an answer for you until next week because I think our vet may be traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
We will get back to you as soon as we can.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
