No, it is not a shame at all. This is the individuals own decision, whether to have a Facebook account, or not. I know lots of people who don't want a facebook account, and will never open one.
I only have facebook because all of my family members live in different parts of the world, and I can then exchange news and photo's with them. I also use the highest privacy level, as don't want strangers looking at my profile, or messages etc. I don't know how they could put an age restriction on having an account, but feel parents should always monitor and check their childrens facebook pages, to make sure there is no inappropriate posts etc, if they allow them to be on facebook.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
