I would personally say it would be cheaper to rent I guess, but would spend the little bit extra to own it. The only reason I say this, is my wife told me that her wedding gown was one of her most favorite parts of the whole experience, and is very glad that she is able to hold on to it forever, even though she might not ever wear it again. Now with that I have said that, if it is the money situation that is a bit harder for you and your loved one to work out, there are all sorts of alternatives!
Our wedding took place at a haunted house, and reception was held at her mother's house, in the backyard. As for the dress we went to many different shops, and actually found the dress she fell in love with for 40 dollars. We lucked out and found it brand new at a Goodwill store. So there are several things you can look for, if you would like to keep your dress!
I hope this helps in some way!
Renting a wedding dress sounds like a good idea to me! I never did see the reasoning behind spending a ton of money on a dress you only wear a few hours. Sounds like your friend has her mind made up but wants to make her groom happy~nothing wrong with that and if it's truly important to him that she have a new dress then he should be the one to foot the bill!
Another option would be to look at the less expensive wedding dresses. Some of them are quite lovely, or to buy a regular white dress off the rack at a department store. I had a small family wedding, and my wedding dress was a white jacquard day-length dress that I got off the JC Penney clearance rack for $30!
Afterward I dyed it light blue so I could wear it for other occasions. I'm frugal, if nothing else!
Renting a wedding gown is advantageous. Renting cuts costs by half. You save valuable money that can be used on the new house.
Thousand dollar dresses can be rented for a couple of hundred dollars. Sometimes bridal packages come with accessories like veil, shoes etc. One more advantage is the bride need not bother about the maintenance of the dress. She can return it after using it.
You may ignore the disadvantages like you have to choose from a limited selection and pay extra for alteration and damages if you are renting a wedding gown If you are on a big budget, definitely you can buy an exclusive designer wedding dress. If you plan a sweet little, but practical, wedding you may go in for a rented wedding dress.Regards.
Yes! Wedding dress may be wore only once in life, but the good memories may be kept in mind all the life. A perfect wedding dress witness your love, and when you quarrel with each other, maybe, the wedding dress clam down you, and when you get old, you can rewear the wedidng dress with your husband to review that good memories, so I don't approve of renting a wedding dress, plus, buying a wedding dress costs as more as renting a wedding dress, like a store trustedeal.com where provide customers high quality dress with low cost.So you can try!
This is a question that only the bride herself can answer. No one can tell a bride what she should do on her special day, because she will simply do whatever it is that she wants. However, I am more than willing to share my personal opinion on what I feel is the best option for a bride going gown shopping.
I personally think that buying a dress is the way to go. But not in the traditional sense. Please keep reading.
=) There is an organization in Canada called the Brides Project that accepts used wedding dresses as donations. In turn, they sell these dresses to soon to be brides and donate all of the profits to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Breast Cancer Foundation, “Movember (fighting prostate cancer) and Camp Quality.
I cannot imagine a better way of dressing for your special day. When I get married, I will be using this service and wear my second hand dress proudly!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
