It is truly a simple-minded question. How much can you tax a person making $33,000 or less per year? Realistically?
People have to live, you do realize that? So, of course, the person making $114,000+ is going to pay more taxes than the person who has difficultly putting food on their table every day. Like it or not, government programs (education, roads, military) needs to be funded and they sure heck can't be on the backs of the poor.
Is it unfair? That depends on your perspective. On one hand, yes it is.
Your paying more for someone else. Then again, your also living a much better life than someone else. Many would easily trade shoes with you, to have the opportunities that you have had.
Wishful thinking on your part. You see a lot of CEOs of FOrtune 500 companies trolling Yahoo! Answers.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
