No its not fair at all, I think every one needs to pay the same rate or no one pays, and stop you get back more than you paid in.

Those who have more pay more. That's how a progressive tax system works. And those in the lower rung of income levels do pay taxes, out of every single paycheck.

They may get most/all of it back once April rolls around, but they do pay taxes throughout the year. They also pay state and local taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, etc etc etc Besides the top 10% hold most of the wealth in this country. The rest of us are living paycheck to paycheck plus credit cards and loans.

You can only squeeze so much out of us.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
