Is it official? Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is surpassed by Battlefield 3 in every way possible?

COD has been the dominant game for the last 4 years back to back to back. Don't forget all these COD fanboys had to be playing something before Modern Warfare came out. They were probably playing Battlefield 2 (which is what I was doing) when it was released.

Then, they started to play COD, the addictive multiplayer instantly took over the hearts of many people like me. Ever since, I've bought every COD and was never dissattisfied with the results. Now, when I hear all this hype over Battlefield 3, I think that maybe just maybe there might be some competition.

But no, Battlefields dragging battles tire quickly and are forgettable. Many people argue it's better because there are vehicles and more people on the maps. But, take a look at World at War, it had vehicles and I think it was the worst of the new COD's.

If you play Battlefield 3 it takes at least a few minutes to actually find somebody, usually some douche who is just flying the whole time. One time I played in a match where I ran around the middle of the map for 10 minutes waiting for someone to show up, instead there are 15 jets flying overhead, none of them killing each other. Who would want to sit through that?

Get COD, enjoy a game where there is action at almost every turn instead of being bored to death.

Yes except in sales just like someone mentioned. I have 3-4 friends that are cod fans admit after playing battlefield 3 and mw3 for an entire week that battlefield 3 is indeed has a better multiplayer than modern warefare 3 due to the fact that activision barely changed anything for modern warfare 3 in terms of content, weaponry, and graphics. Battlefield 3 highlights: current day cg effects aka graphics vehicles weapon balance(recoil, bullet drop) but the flashlight a ***** parachuting, there a few maps that require you to jump off of helicopters and cliffs, very fun :D sound effects are up to date slow paced but of course you gotta work with your teammates dedicated servers, that means no host migrations.

Large maps for more flanking and maneuvering tactics room size on pc is 64 room size on console is 24 destructible buildings to stop camping and get through areas. Modern warfare 3 highlights Survival missions survival co-op alright campaign smaller maps new mode kill confirm weapon level class system faster paced kill streak class system overall mw3 hasn't really changed to any good positive aspects in multi player.

Hmm look at the top 2 games that just relesed in November, Skyrim and Battlefeild 3, both are open world games with almost unlimited options and offer a new experience every time you play, COD is the same as it was when COD2 came out, just a tweek here and there and they added sprinting and modernized the franchise with current events. MW3 was the same old same old not much to brag to about :p.

Battlefield has beat mw3 in every way except in sales. The game is simply superior and the campaign was actually good(reviews said it was bad). I unfortunately have both and cant return mw3.

I have all the cod games except cod classic and im proud to say "another fps has finally surpassed it". I don't know what the next cod will be about(treyarch) and I sure as hell don't know what infinity ward is gonna make next. Even if they make a stupid game like, a modern warfare prequel, lots of idiots(including myself maybe) will buy it.

Cod is just fun since most of my friends play it but battlefield is still the best. I just wish more of my friends would play it.

I think Battlefield 3 is amazing. I believe is best game this year. I am a cod player and played it since mw2, blackops.

Alittle cod 4. I started playing bf3 this year and it;s amazing. I do have both games, soo yes, I believe bf3 has defeated cod .

But I believe more people r intomw3. Cod is still better because they have more buyers and players. But more ppl r more interested in bf3.

But above all , mw3 is still the better game. Bf3 is close second.

Def BF3 Unless you really really really really liked COD, because cod 3 is the same thing, I think even alot of the maps are reused. Basically activision jsut sucking your money away. BF3 has vehicle combat.

Other than that FPS suck in general so I wouldnt get either.

It sounds like you just ripped that off ign or some bf3 loving site, I prefer COD over bf3 but bf3 has bigger maps and better graphics. And to answer your first question mw3 is the best selling game of all time. Though I personally would pick halo or skyrim over either.

Call of Duty is going the way of Guitar Hero/Tony Hawk series, in that they are milking the cash cow until it is bone dry. CoD will be dead within a few years if they don't step up their game.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
