The answer really depends upon the mom. You certainly can take a newborn baby from house to house to show the baby off---proud parents are often eager to do so. The baby is healthy enough to be outside for short periods of time, and I assume the mom will be there at all times to take care of him or her.
I personally would not take a newborn baby from house to house. Newborn babies are just that, newly born, and have not yet adjusted to their new surroundings. In addition, they are still weak, and I would be nervous that they might catch a cold or a flu bug.
While they would be fine even if they caught a cold, it would be pretty scary for both the baby and the parents. If it were me, I would let a select few people come to the baby's home to visit.
Yes, it is fine. Babies can be quite resiliant as long as they have what they need in bag but it is not so good for mummy though as mum should have some rest, after delivery. Even if you feel full of energy, it will catch up with you on the nightly feeds etc.Give it a couple of days, everyone will understand and you may find people coming round to help you, which is always nice..
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
