Is it worth it to buy a VHS converter to change all your VHS' to DVD?

No, buy the Sony Multi Function DVD Recorder Model # VRD-MCS I have one and it is awesome. I have put every VHS tape on disc and all of my pictures for card reader in cell phone and from my digial camera. It works great and very easy to use.

I think it just depends on the individual. If you like watching movies and don't want to spend extra money buying all new DVDs it makes logical sense to convert your older VHS'.

That all depends. Some of the VHS to DVD converters you can buy are full VCR-like units. If you already own a VCR, you can buy a small box to sit between it and your computer which will mean you don't have to splash your cash on a full-size box that you don't really need for other things.

This will allow you to just record the output from your existing VCR machine.

As a bonus, these boxes could also be used to record programmes from a DVR such as a TiVo or Sky+ box for archiving on your computer.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
