Is it wrong to speak I tongues when I am alone, if there is no one there to intepret what Im speakin?

It's your personal time, use it as you wish as long as nobody else is bothered by your actions.

It is not wrong to speak in tongues when you are alone. You can ask the Lord to give you the interpretation after.

Speaking in tongues is a tandem gift, it needs to come with the interpretation by another person. The two gifts are discussed by Paul in the letters to the Corinthians to help people realize that every gift is equally important. If you speak in tongues in private, with no one there to interpret, you may be losing the message completely.

God will send the right person at the right time to bring clarification to what is being said.

That being said, I would agree with others, if you are not bothering anyone else it is not a bad thing by definition. But if you want to call it truly speaking in tongues, you need someone else to interpret on their own, by their own gifts.

I only speak in tongues at work. My boss and coworkers think that I'm a babbling idiot. But at least they gave me my own office in one corner, away from everyone else....

I believe that there might be a prayer language of tongues as well but I am not cmopletely sure.

Speaking in tongues when you praying is 100% correct I do it all the time. You don't need an interpretation because it is made for self edification, which means God intended your tongue to be for building you up in the Spirit, because it is your spirit that prays with the Holy Spirit.

Some confuse a prophesy with tongues and nterpretation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
