Is Manchester City a good place to live?

Close call but Edinburgh. Edinburgh is both historic and modern and when they fire the cannon at 1 o'clock it's really cool. It's not far at all from great countryside.

Loch Lomond an the Trossachs is about an hour by train, then you've got the Lowlands (though they're not in the same league as the Highlands). On the other hand, Edinburgh's probably more expensive, and it's probably harder to find a job then in Manchester. Even if you are in Mancheste and you can't find a job there, there are plenty of nearby cities you can commute to everyday such as Leeds, Liverpool, Wigan, Blackpool, Blackburn and Bolton.

I'd still say Edinburgh is better though cos it has the perfect mix of modern and historic and the surrounding area is really beautiful :).

I live in manchester, but if I had the choice I would live in edinburgh, it the only city ive been to that I would actually love to be in. It is smaller than manchester, it has lots of history, I like the architecture, I love scotland, the people, and the scenery.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
