I'm neither a Republican or a Democrat. I don't think abortion is a major issue worth voting for, but I'm pro life. I don't like either Mitt or Barrack but if I had to choose one of the two, I'd choose Mitt I guess... My take on Politics lately is that it's full of a bunch of scum bags.
Government is not answer, it's the problem. Unfortunately both of these candidates share the opposite opinion. There really isn't much difference between the two parties anymore IMO.
The thing that made this country great was a sense of personal responsibility and the desire to grab life by the horns and control your own destiny without the Government getting in the way and looting your and your family. An absolute abhorrence to Europe and their way of life and the need to not only be vastly different, but vastly better... However we've come to an impasse. We seem to be on the precipice, staring out over the vast pit of collectivism where most of Europe has traveled before us.
Behind us is the land of individualism. The country is divided, but you can not compromise between the two ideals because they're so diametrically opposed. We've been trying, and that's why we are where we are currently... We used to be the undisputed #1 nation in the world.
We are no longer, and it's because instead of striving and driving and taking it upon our own selves to provide and solve our own issues we whine about problems that don't matter that we've made up and we look to the rest of the world and our government for our answers....
Democrat, pro-choice, Barrack Obama, politics are crazy lately! , Mitt Romney won the first debate, Obama seems to be killing it right now.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
