Well, I don't think there are a lot of jobs in that field. Maybe you should get a double degree so you have something else to fall back on.
It may be "worth it" to the student, as a rich learning experience, BUT that being a "soft to very mushy science", there is not a lot of tangible value there for employers to benefit from. And it's a very frustrating field -- because even if you do find a job, it's nearly impossible to change a corporate culture-- you might write very insightful reports, but the chances of your ever seeing your suggestions put into action is nearly nil. She got two: One in clinical psychology and the other one in School counseling. She loves her jobs as a counselor at a middle school, as a Psychology college professor and in a practice here in town counseling adolescents.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
