Marijuana both has a stronger immediate effect and 40+ carcinogens for your body to choose from to start cancer cells with. The biggest problem with cigarettes isn't so much the tobacco as all the other chemicals added to them. Those + tobacco can mess up your body's efforts to resist cancer.

We simply have more statistics on tobacco smokers because we have more of them (and they're more willing to answer surveys than marijuana smokers. ) I would add that out two most famous marijuana smokers, Bob Denver and George Harrison, both died of cancer.

There are studies that indicate weed is 5.7 times worse. There are also studies that show weed to be harmless. Hard to say who to believe because, much like the old tobacco companies, there are a lot of people with an agenda.

Bob Marley died from complications caused by brain cancer, Bob Denver died from cancer at the age of 70, and George Harrison attributed his throat and lung cancer to smoking tobacco in the '60's, btw.

Lots of people thinks so. But until we have the scientific trials and a good record, I think that smoke is smoke and carbon monoxide is the same in any smoke. And just as deadly.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
