Is snapping-hip syndrome treatable?

Yes. It is curable with treatment, and sometimes it suddenly cures itself. :)But yes, you will want to visit your chiro to have a more accurate diagnosis of the problem.

Yes, it is treatable. P snapping is caused by an overly tight IT band, which is a sheet of thick connective tissue running from the crest of your hip (where you would place your hands if I said put your hands on your hips) to the outside of your knee. A tight ITB will give you the snapping, knee pain and hip joint pain.It requires a LOT of strecthing.

There's lots of good videos on youtube for stretching the ITB. Some people find working with a foam roller helps as well. Make sure your running shoes suit your foot type.

A good running shop will be able to help you with this. Working on the ITB can be done on ones own, but by all means see you chiropractor as there may be an underlying cause of the tightness, such as a pelvic misalignment. This is coming from a chiropractor.

All the best and I hope that helps. Vitamin B supplementation will do nothing. Oh, and I suspect the power walking is more aggravating than running, though you will find running down stairs or hills troublesome.

While you're looking for help (I love my chiropractor) consider Vitamin D3 (you can take alot, it's not toxic), helps get calcium back into bones/teeth. Also, consider making bone broth soup once a week. I read that there are no blood vessels to the synovial fluid but the good stuff (the gel) from the broth goes straight there.

Real easy to make: couple of chicken carcasses (left over from roasted), kosher salt, peppercorns, onion, couple of bays leaves (I add egg shells I've saved, vinegar), simmer 3 hours to 3 days! Add water as you will, but near the end let it go down to half or so. Strain (with or without cheese cloth), cold, skim off fat.Delicious.

Not at all like canned! Just brought some broth to my daughter in university...she loved it (getting over the flu). Easy to digest.

Also, magnesium is good. Kinda bulky for a multi so I take that in water...tastes pretty good. Magnesium citrate.

Could take a year, be patient, keep hope, many benefits right away!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
