Is the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa going to be South America vs Europe?

Brazil, Argentina, Germany and Italy have always been amongst the favorites in the World Cup and have always performed very well. This time Spain have a very good team as well and should perform well. Countries from the other continents have rarely performed well in the World Cup and have very little chance of making it to the semis.

However, this is the first time the competition would be held in Africa and the African teams would be highly motivated. The countries with the best chance in Africa, I believe, are Ghana and Nigeria, due to their relatively easy groups. South Africa will be playing on home soil and in the past world cups the home teams have always perform well.

However, their recent performances have been disappointing and they won't be among the favorites.

I believe the chance of the championship will be the South American. Germany and Spain, will also be in the cup final, I think that Brazil should really be the champion.

World Cup is one of the biggest football tournament in world. Europe and South America both two continent used to play some great football from a long time. Now the time to supply some best quality football from both Asia and Africa. African countries will get more advantage because they will play in front of their home fans and their own ground.

If they will give their best football in field then will get the crown of WC 2010 for first time in the history of world football. Japan,North Korea will give some challenge to the big teams of Europe and South America. But how Europe and South America used to perform well in WC. So, it's very difficult to catch the glory of WC to win the crown of WC for both Asia and Africa continent teams.
