Melted Plastic Is Very Dangerous Plastic is looked upon as a carcinogen and is very harmful. Melted or heated plastic is very dangerous. I have heard news reports that plastic water bottles should not be reused.
If you decide to reuse them anyway, wash them with soap & water before refilling and then do that only a couple of times. Plastic bottles should never be frozen nor should anything plastic be microwaved. Plastic wrap should not be used to cover food in the microwave.
I just received an e-mail: It originated from John Hopkins and is under the heading of a Cancer Update: Chemotherapy. The study seems real and is designed to warn people of the dangers of plastic and not created to geneerate a wide-spread panic for no reason. They have nothing good to say about plastic as a container for food.
I can't source it any better than that. The e-mail was cleansed before I received it and the only info on it is the original sender & original receiver and their e-mail addresses. A William R.
Chunn was the original sender. If this info doesn't help let me know and if you like I could forward it to you. I have set up fake e-mail accounts that I only use if I want info e-mailed to me and I don't want to post my main account.
That way only one person will use that account and I can delete any other e-mails without a thought that they be genuine. So far no wackos have sent me anything.
The short answer is yes. The slightly longer answer is: Anything burning is toxic. Anything that was burnt, then reheated so the smell is reintroduced into the air as strong, is toxic.
You see that smoke from aroma candles, it is toxic, maybe not as much as some things but it is still toxic. The smell of melting plastic is toxic. Sorry to be so blunt sissysis, I didn't leave any 'crawfish' room, it's toxic...and yes, you should remove it immediately.
BYE! .
The smell itself is not harmful, as long as contact is limited and it is not concentrated. Hopefully you are not still using the container. Probably not, but it is not obvious from the question.
If it smells, it can be putting things into the food that you do not want. Get rid of the container, and then air out the kitchen. Give the microwave a good scrubbing, and the smell should be gone.
The smell itself is not harmful, but it is a sign that something harmful is still around. I hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
