Is there a limit to how many superpowers one can have on Askville?

Welcome to Askville! There are four superpowers available. Two of them are for those that have at least one Level 1 topic and the other two are for those who have at least one Level 2 topic.

One in each category is available for free. So, if you have no Level 1 topic you cannot purchase any of them. If you have at least 1 Level 1 topic you may purchase two of them (provided you have enough gold).

If you have at least one Level 2 topic you may purchase the other two as well(again if you have enough gold). You may purchase them from Superpower Store. Two of them that are available for free are not that useful.

You may use them to leave a post in the first page of your L1 topics by one and you may use the other one to add other topics to the list of questions of your L2 topics. There are two multipliers that can be purchased. They are the most useful superpowers and enable one to earn more coins.

Right now you have no Level 1 topic so you can’t purchase any of them. By answering questions and earning "experience points" you can level up in topics. I suggest you have a look at FAQ for more information.It might a bit vague now but I hope you get the idea.

Right now, there’s a possible 4 superpowers… Level 2: Allowance 0/2 Gold Earning Multiplier L2 Topic Editing L2 Level 1: Allowance 0/2 Gold Earning Multiplier L1 Topic Bulletin Board L1 I don’t bother with the topic-related ones—I’m on an old and slow computer, and the Bulletin board page never finishes loading for me. Since adding the topic has it show up, but doesn't give the experience points, it seems more than a little futile to me. The gold multipliers cost gold to attain, and you have to learn HOW to use them (and earn enough gold to pay for them!) but once you do that, you can indeed significantly increase your ability to earn gold, especially as you “level up” in points in a whole bunch of topics, so you have a big selection of questions you could answer.

When you achieve level 3 and up, there are not additional superpowers yet, but your level 1 or 2 multiplier works for those questions, too. I’m level 4 in a couple of topics, and if I answer a question related to food, for example, I could earn up to 82 gold coins for it. Here’s the deal.

The multipliers work the same way. Level 1 costs 500 gold coins, and gives you half an hour per day where your gold earnings—OR LOSSES—are doubled. You have to TURN IT ON, then answer as many questions as you can in that half hour.

If you run out of time in the middle of a question, you’re SOL on it for the extra points! I’d suggest being sure to only answer questions you KNOW you can answer well with the multiplier on! Level 2 costs 2000 gold coins and gives you 2 hours a day, an hour at a time, 11 hours apart.

What lots of people with the multiplier do is go through the question list, copy and paste the questions they’re interested in answering, and formulate the answers in a word document, BEFORE THEY TURN ON THEIR MULTIPLIER! Then copy and paste into the answer slots.In doing that, you can double or triple the number of questions you can submit answers to in the set amount of time—copying and pasting and adding widgets and so forth takes more time than you’d think! I recommend you take a look at the FAQs for the superpowers... and get yourself a multiplier, and learn how to use it!

Yes, four There is an overall limit of four superpowers (which happens to be the number of superpowers total), but that doesn’t mean that everyone who is eligible for a superpower can have four. To be able to have one Level 1 superpower, you must have at least one topic in Level 1. When you get a topic into Level 2, you can have two L1 superpowers and 1 L2 power.

When you get a topic into Level 3 you can have 2 L1 powers and 2 L2 powers, or all four of the available superpowers.

How do you reach level 1,2,3 ect. On askville topics to get superpowers? I am completely clueless.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
