Is there an anime like Code Geass?

Code Geass is my favorite anime to, I've seen it 6 times. I've seen over 250 anime and there are shows that are close to how good Code Geass is. Death Note is my second favorite, but it looks like you've already seen it.

Gundam 00 http://myanimelist.net/anime/2581/Mobile... It's similar to Code Geass because it's made by the same company, has mecha, terrorist organization fighting for peace, etc. There's a lot more main characters in this one and the pilots aren't the ones coming up with the strategy's like in Code Geass, but it's still really good. In plot, it's a close to Code Geass as Lelouch is to Light. Fate / Zero http://myanimelist.net/anime/10087/Fate/... Even though there's no mecha in this, I found it to be close to Code Geass.

The two main characters are very smart, want peace, and will do anything to achieve their goals. I don't know if you've seen Fate / Stay Night or not, but if you have, Fate / Zero is 10000000 times better. All the characters are in the war because they want to be, they all have plans to win the grail, and they'll all stop at nothing to win.

It's very dark and serious. A great show. This is my third favorite anime.

The first episode is mostly talking and setup, but after that it's a fast paced action show with tons of twists and fantastic characters.

Anime like Death Note and Code Geass are evergreen masterpieces... Such anime are, well, kind of hard to come across- it's not easy for any anime to reach that level. You could always try Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood- It is similar to code geass (in a way) because both the series have an intricate storyline and what starts as a relatively straightforward aim turn into something HUGE.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
