That wasn't the question. Directmale 2 days ago .

You are one of the people who are destroying America.

Your ability to understand this question seems to need some help. The question was not about pollution, but about rhetoric from BHO. If you want to discuss pollution you are free to start the discussion by asking a question about it.

His accusation that Republicans are in favor of harming our children is reprehensible but not surprising from a president who wants to divide, not unite US citizens. Directmale 2 days ago .

No, your claim that that is what he said is what is reprehensible. You know better, but you don't care. All you care about is doing damage.

Simple statements are easy to understand for most of us. Directmale 1 day ago .

While it's true no one is likely to mistake you for a genius, it seems to me that your major problem isn't simple-mindedness so much as it is a complete lack of integrity.

BTW, you repeating over and over that this is what the President thinks doesn't make it any more true. Asking people to defend him against something he didn't say is ridiculous. Your facts are wrong, so we can't have the discussion you want to have.

We can only tell you, again, that you're wrong.

So yes, he did say that. Directmale 2 days ago .

I'm sorry. I'm looking for the words "poison" and "kids" in there. Still not seeing them.

This sounds like a guilty conscience to me.

No guilt here. And I am not surprised you don't see it. Directmale 2 days ago .

Thank you. I think you're using GOP logic:A 4-legged frog can be trained to jump on command. Cut off frog's legs, he won't jump.

Ergo, amputation causes deafness.

LIving is easy with eyes closed. Directmale 2 days ago .

No need to take my word for it since you are the one who is apparently living by the theory. Directmale 2 days ago .

Oh I get it. We've reached the place in the discussion where you've been exposed (again) so you attempt an insult. Lame!

.

It's a metaphor but an apt one. If you don't keep pollution under control, people get sick. Children who are exposed to it from birth and before, are apt to come down with asthma, cancer and other diseases.

Ultimately this IS poisoning them if we know ahead of time what happens if you don't address a serious problem and put current money interests above all and leave the mess for another generation. A generation they claim to value so greatly as long as it's inside the womb..

Well I'd prefer it didn't contain carcinogens. What a silly question. Really?

V=tDGORiD82rQ.

The question is not silly at all. I asked for people to tell me how clean water should be, not how clean they want it to be. There is a big difference between the two answers.

It is certainly not reasonable dialog. I don't think there is anyone left in the world that thinks this guy really believes what he says. Obama's audience is the stupidest people that exist and that is all.

He doesn't care if the words represent fact or fiction, fantasy or reality, or even if they make sense as a coherent thought. Whatever his team feels will motivate the dullest of the masses is what will come out of his mouth. The media is covering for him, so he isn't forced to explain a diarrhea at the mouth screed like he blew out early this week.

For this election cycle there is no use in trying to explain his record. So the one-line, fear mongering fodder for those whose ability to think does not exceed their appetite for rumor and gossip is the way to get the most people to the polls willing to vote for more of this. No he doesn't think that republicans want to poison people or want dirty air and dirty water and death and pestilence for all the poor people.

But there are masses of people out there that want to believe that. He speaks to those that want to believe in every boogyman that their political masters can dream up. There is a market for what he says.

As crazy, stupid, and completely absurd as some of the things are- there are people that want to hear it. And there are people that buy it every time. This presidency is starting to give me the feeling of living through that Eddie Murphy movie Trading Places.

The two old guys have a one dollar bet on turning some community organizer into the president and showing that anyone can do this job. Our president thinks that Harvard is the greatest university in America just because he grew up watching Gilligan's Island. Now we have elected Gilligan as president.

Everybody loved Gilligan, but I don't know if it was the best idea letting him drive the boat.

I'd call it campaign rhetoric and as we all know, anything goes in a campaign. I noticed that at the bottom of the page, there was an opportunity to "join us" and help re-elect BHO. I trust that you, as a strong Obama supporter, clicked on that joined!

.

Of course!. I am sure you know exactly what I did with that "opportunity". Directmale 3 days ago .

My guess is that you are right. Directmale 2 days ago .

Those guys all by themselves have pretty much driven the stake thru the heart of Romney's hopes for the Fall. As for Republicans poisoning kids, that isn't what the president said.

Tell me what he said does mean if not that they don't care if they poison people. Directmale 2 days ago .

DM it is YOU who have taken the president's comment "let business pollute more" to mean "let's poison our kids". I am encouraged by your new found enlightenment and gratified that you agree with both me and the president, that rolling back environmental regulations is bad for children.

Lono, I am putting this right out there for the world to see. Will you marry me? Gosh I love ya!

:) .

Who cares If I am married over 40 years. I'll get a divorce.

We don't want to be like China where pollution now is higher and people may not be protected just to save money. I don't like guns/pollution/war/drilling in environmental places that should be protected.

Thought the unemployment rate ticked up this month.

What is the name of Aristotles' book on rhetoric.

Keeping Presidential Politics, Democrats and Republicans out of this question and DB - Do you think there's any momentum.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
