It bad to say you don't believe in god? and is it bad to say so in front of people who think god?

If you look at the world in black or white, we are all bad to one degree or another. But if you see various shades of gray, I guess many of us can be considered good, at least part of the time. None of us are perfect though, we are human and we make mistakes.To the Christian, we believe that there is a heaven and a hell and that our inperfections would keep us out of heaven unless we believe in Jesus.

We believe He died for our sins and paid our penalty. Space prevents me from going into it here. I am sure you have read the story though.

People need to learn to be respectful of other people's opinions. We all should be able to present our views, in a kind way, without condemnation from those who believe differently. With that having been said, I will be the first to admit that it is hard to not let a discussion get heated when you are talking about something you are very passionate about.

You're not a bad person for believing there is no god. Atheists and agnostics have the same potential to be good as any religion. As for whether or not you should say it in front of religious people, that answer is largely situational.In other words, I wouldn't recommend seeking out religious people and telling them you don't believe in a god.

That would probably just spark arguments and anger. However if someone asks you outright, what do you believe in, then you should be true to yourself and give an honest answer.My wife's parents have a more spiritual view of the world than I do, but I do my best not to belittle their views or openly speak out against it. If, however, they ask my opinion, I tell the truth.

I think that is an important thing to remember because you shouldn't be ashamed of what you believe, whether you are religious or not.

That's right, there's nothing more fake than God, I assure you. And it's not quite correct to say you "don't believe in God" because people will want to think that phrase pre-assumes a God exists, you just don't believe in it. You should say "I believe there IS NO God" in a more definite way.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
